Inter Milan’s Under-23 team are reportedly looking ready for the new season after a 4-1 friendly win over Pro Vercelli.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
For the first time next season, Inter Milan will have an Under-23 team. The team will compete in Serie C, and have officially registered for the Italian third tier.
As with the Juventus Next Gen and AC Milan Futuro teams, the purpose of this team is to offer younger players a pathway into first team football.

Stefano Vecchi will lead the new Inter Under-23 team as coach, meanwhile.
Moreover, the former youth team coach with the Nerazzurri has been in charge for a few weeks. He has been leading the team through preseason.
And yesterday, meanwhile, Inter’s Under-23 team played a warmup friendly match against Pro Vercelli.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri won that match by a scoreline of 4-1.
The goalscorers for Inter Milan’s Under-23 team in that 4-1 win were Simone Cinquegrano, Issiaka Kamate (from the penalty spot), Luka Topalovic, and Mattia Mosconi.
