Serie A heavyweights Juventus are reportedly hellbent on signing outgoing Manchester City stalwart Bernardo Silva in the upcoming transfer window. However, according to Calciomercato.it, the Turin giants have compiled a three-man shortlist if they fail to secure the 31-year-old’s signature.

Bernardo Silva will be out of contract in June, with the former Monaco star already announcing his summer departure. Indeed, the Portuguese midfielder will sever ties with Manchester City after nine years. Meanwhile, he has emerged as one of Juventus’ top targets heading into the summer.

Juventus boss Luciano Spalletti is desperate to bolster his midfield options. Despite earmarking Inter outcast Davide Frattesi as one of his highest priorities, the former Scudetto winner is also keen to lure Silva to the Allianz Stadium. However, the record-time Italian champions are facing stiff competition from several wealthy foreign clubs in the race to sign the Man City ace.

Therefore, Juventus are already preparing for a worst-case scenario.

Juventus Identify 3 Alternatives to Bernardo Silva Pursuit

Brahim Diaz has caught Spalletti’s attention, with the diminutive forward ready to pack his bags and leave Real Madrid after failing to secure regular first-team football at the Santiago Bernabeu. Diaz is no stranger to Serie A, having featured for Milan between 2020 and 2023.

In addition to the 26-year-old Moroccan, Juventus are keeping close tabs on Lorenzo Pellegrini’s situation. Indeed, the Italian midfielder’s contract runs out in just over a month, with Roma unable to convince him to put pen to paper on a new deal. However, Inter are also in the mix.

Last but not least, Juventus have placed a watchful eye on Udinese’s rising star, Arthur Atta. Fresh off a superb Serie A campaign with the Friulians, the Frenchman is ready to take his career to the next step. Yet, he won’t come cheap, with Kosta Runjaic’s side slapping a €25 million price tag on their prized asset.
