Napoli reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Inter Milan-bound Andy Diouf after an injury to Romelu Lukaku.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that the Italian champions have shifted focus to signing a striker.
Lens midfielder Andy Diouf is on the verge of joining Inter Milan.
Reportedly, the 22-year-old will undergo his medicals today already. This after a whirlwind round of negotiations that saw the Nerazzurri wrap up a deal in less than 48 hours.

Inter had not been the only club aiming to bring Diouf to Serie A.
Napoli, who beat Inter to the Serie A title last season by a single point, had also been trying to sign the Frenchman.
However, reports Sky Sport Italia, the Partenopei changed their plans after an injury to Romelu Lukaku.
With the Belgian striker set to be on the months for a few months, Napoli want to reinforce in attack.
Therefore, the Partenopei hesitated in talks to sign Diouf.
This allowed Inter to quickly swoop in and hijack Napoli’s deal for the 22-year-old.
