Among the various names linked with Roma in recent weeks is that of Genoa midfielder Albert Gudmundsson.

The Icelandic international, who has had a season of ups and downs with Fiorentina, is attracting the interest of several Italian clubs, although there are doubts related to some physical issues and a legal case underway in his country.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Roma have started the first contacts with the player’s entourage on the advice of Gian Piero Gasperini, who would like a profile similar to Lookman’s for his new adventure in the capital.

However, the Giallorossi are not the only ones: Atalanta and Bologna have also asked Genoa for information.

Fiorentina, who will not resign Gudmundsson on a permanent deal, are hoping to renew his loan.
