Galatasaray are eyeing Nicolas Jackson as an alternative if they fail to complete the signing of Victor Osimhen according to reports.

The Blues are once again expected to be busy this summer and have already completed the signing of Liam Delap for £30m from Ipswich.

More new faces are expected to follow the 22-year-old through the door with Chelsea looking for a versatile attacker, centre back and left winger to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.

Galatasaray consider Jackson as Osimhen alternative

Jackson impressed in his first season at Chelsea, but he struggled during the last campaign and only managed ten league goals, although he did score in the Conference League final.

The Blues paid the price at times for not having an alternative to the Senegalese and moved quickly to bring Delap in.

Delap’s arrival has raised some questions marks about Jackson’s future, but Matt Law has reported Chelsea are planning for the pair to be their strikers next season.

Jackson has been linked with a shock move to Manchester United, and Turkish-Football have now reported Galatasaray are eyeing him as an alternative if they fail to sign Osimhen.

The report adds Osimhen is their main target, but a move for Jackson could be explored, although it’s unclear what Chelsea’s asking price would be.

Chelsea make approach for Nick Woltemade

With Delap through the door Chelsea could yet look to bring another striker in, and have been linked with Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.

However, there’s seemingly another Bundesliga forward on their list and the Blues are believed to have made an approach for Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade.

The 23-year-old stands at 6ft 6in and scored 17 goals in all competitions last season, but it’s unclear what Stuttgart’s asking price is.
