Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic is one step away from joining Club Brugge in a deal worth €10 million.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic spent the last season on loan with Swiss club Luzern.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding campaign. So much so that he has even been tipped to win the midfielder of the year award for the Swiss Super League.
Luzern had a purchase option on Aleksandar Stankovic. They can sign the Serb on a permanent basis for a fee of €1.5 million.
However, Inter in turn had a buyback clause, and can bring Stankovic back immediately.
Belgian giants Club Brugge have reportedly come to the head of the queue to sign Stankovic this summer.
According to SportMediaset, the Belgian giants are now just one step away from signing the Serb. They have virtually sealed an agreement with Inter for the transfer.
The broadcaster anticipate that the fee Brugge pay Inter will be around €10 million.
However, Mediaset further report, Inter will also have a buyback option on Aleksandar Stankovic.
