In a significant development reported by Fichajes, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly looking to make some crucial changes to his squad ahead of the January transfer window.
According to the report, the manager is prepared to place three high-profile players on the market: Aurelien Tchouameni, Ferland Mendy, and David Alaba. These players, who have not been able to meet expectations this season, could be nearing the end of their time at the club.
Starting with Tchouameni, the French midfielder was seen as one of the club’s most exciting signings in recent years. However, his adaptation to the high demands of Real Madrid’s midfield has not gone as expected.
Despite Ancelotti’s efforts to provide him with regular playing time, Tchouameni’s performances this season have been inconsistent.
His inability to deliver the required level of consistency has raised doubts about his future at the club. If an attractive offer comes through, Real Madrid could be tempted to let him go.

Mendy’s situation is even more pressing. The left-back has struggled to make an impact, and his performances have not lived up to the standards expected at a club like Real Madrid.
With the club reportedly looking for alternative options, including a potential move for Alphonso Davies, Mendy’s future at the club appears uncertain.
Although his defensive contributions have been decent, his lack of effectiveness in attack has not helped his case. With the possibility of a more experienced full-back joining, Mendy might find himself surplus to requirements.
Finally, Alaba’s situation is linked to his recent injury struggles. The Austrian defender has been plagued by a serious injury that he suffered last year which has significantly affecting his ability to contribute to the team.
Alaba was once a key figure in Real Madrid’s defence, but his constant injury setbacks have raised concerns about his physical condition. As a result, the club might look to part ways with him in order to avoid further risks to his long-term fitness.
