Federico Chiesa seems to have grown frustrated with a fringe role at Liverpool and could be set for a long-awaited return to Serie A. According to Calciomercato, three Italian clubs are vying for the 28-year-old’s signature.

Once regarded as one of Europe’s elite forwards, Chiesa left Juventus to join Liverpool in 2024. It was supposed to be a step forward, yet things have not worked out for the former Fiorentina winger at Anfield.

For context, he has accumulated 50 competitive appearances for the Reds in the last two years. Former manager Arne Slot trusted Chiesa enough to hand him just a single league start in the 2025/626 campaign.
