Serie A leaders Inter Milan will reportedly launch a summer bid for Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will make their first offer immediately after the end of the season.
Inter Milan will sever ties with veteran keeper Yann Sommer in June.
Indeed, the San Siro giants have reportedly decided not to renew the 37-year-old’s expiring contract.
Meanwhile, they’ve already identified Guglielmo Vicario as an ideal candidate to replace the former Bayern Munich star.
Furthermore, the Italian ace is keen to join the Nerazzurri.
Vicario has reportedly agreed to join Inter, as he hopes to leave North London after three years.
However, Tottenham are fighting to avoid relegation from the Premier League and are reluctant to discuss any transfer deals before the summer.
Indeed, Igor Tudor is keen to avoid all off-field distractions to help Spurs avoid the ignominy of being relegated for the first time since the 1970s.
As for Inter, they’re willing to respect Tottenham’s current situation and postpone formal negotiations until the end of the season.
Still, they’ll lodge the opening bid before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hoping to close the deal at around €20 million.
