Red Devils will be busy in the transfer market as one Carrington product set to extend stay
Manchester United are plotting a thorough summer squad overhaul, with talks set to take place this week with a view to offloading ten first-team players.
The Red Devils have enjoyed an impressive second half of the season since replacing Ruben Amorim with Michael Carrick in January, and are set to return to the Champions League next season.
While it remains unclear whether Carrick will remain in the dugout at Old Trafford next season, the club are wasting no time in getting their summer transfer plans in order.
Per a report in The Sun, meetings will take place this week to get plans set in stone, with ten players facing the chopping block.
Top of the list is goalkeeper Andre Onana, who is presently on loan at Trabzonspor and may join the Turkish club permanently this summer. United hope to recoup £18.9m of the initial £47.2m they laid out to sign the Cameroonian from Inter Milan in 2023.

Elsewhere, third-string striker Joshua Zirkzee and out-of-favour midfielder Manuel Ugarte will both be put up in the shop window, with both mired on the fringes of Carrick’s squad. The pair have started just 12 Premier League matches between them this season.
The Sun adds that United will consider a loan with an option to buy, similar to the terms on which Rasmus Hojlund joined Napoli last summer.
Departing alongside Ugarte is Casemiro, meaning United will be forced to invest in fresh midfield options this summer.

Marcus Rashford is away on loan for the second consecutive season and is expected to leave permanently, with Barcelona known to be interested in keeping him at the Camp Nou.
It remains to be seen, though, whether the Blaugrana will sanction a permanent move, with reports in Spain emerging on Tuesday that they are interested in negotiating another loan instead of paying their £26m buy option outright.
Altay Bayindir has played second fiddle to Senne Lammens this season and is set to depart, with Besiktas known to be keen, while Jadon Sancho, currently on loan at Aston Villa, will not be offered a new contract this summer. Borussia Dortmund are thought to be keen to take him back for a third Bundesliga spell.
Tyrell Malacia is due to be released after spending the bulk of this season on the sidelines, having made just two Premier League appearances.
Toby Collyer is heading into the final year of his contract, with the club considering a move to cash in on the 22-year-old.
Lastly, Tyler Fredricson finds himself out of contract and seems set to depart.
Amid all the outgoings, though, Kobbie Mainoo has reportedly agreed a new five-year contract, which is expected to be made official before the season is out.
