Rhys Bennett dominates attackers again in outstanding display for Fleetwood Town | OneFootball

Manchester United have had six loanees involved in senior action this weekend so far in another busy Saturday afternoon of football.

Rhys Bennett once again made the largest contribution, earning another start for Fleetwood Town.

The 2022 Youth Cup winning captain was on the victorious side as The Cod Army beat MK Dons 4-2 away from home.

The United defender made a commanding 12 clearances alongside one tackle and one interception.

The youngster won 100% of his ground duels but lost his only aerial battle.

Bennett was also involved in the build-up as he had 79 touches of the ball and completed 46 out of his 56 passing attempts.

19 year old Ethan Williams had much less of an impact. He could do little as his Cheltenham Town side lost 0-2 to Tranmere Rovers on Friday evening.

The United winger was subbed off at half-time and only managed 15 touches of the ball as he struggled to get stuck into the action.

He only completed two passes in the first half but one of them was credited as a key pass.

Williams had one shot off target and was unsuccessful in both his dribble attempts as he could not break down the resolute Tranmere defence.

The young winger did contribute defensively with three ground duels won and three successful tackles.

Ethan Ennis came on for the final 13 minutes of Doncaster Rovers’ 3-0 victory over Carlisle United.

He had one shot blocked and completed 75% of his passes as the home side saw out the result with ease.

The youngster also won two out of his three ground duels to help his team over the line.

Joe Hugill also played the final 10 minutes of the same game for Carlisle, but had little influence as he failed to have a single shot and only made two passes in the entire time he was on the field.

Jack Kingdon came on as a half-time substitute as Rochdale AFC romped to a 4-0 victory over Aldershot Town and James Nolan played in Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s 4-1 defeat to Queen of the South in Scotland.
