Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the eighth minute when Yankuba Minteh found the back of the net. Yasin Ayari doubled Brighton’s advantage in the 31st minute, but Richarlison got a goal back for the visitors in the 43rd minute. Thomas Frank’s men were trailing 2-1 at the half-time break.

Tottenham managed to equalise in the 82nd minute when Jan Paul van Hecke scored an unfortunate own goal. The contest finished with Spurs earning a hard-fought 2-2 draw away from home.

LB: Destiny Udogie – 6.5/10

He caught the eye at times on both halves.

CM: Lucas Bergvall – 5.5/10

Bergvall made a poor error defensively, but recovered well and managed to put in a good display in the second half.

CM: Joao Palhinha – 7/10

He anchored the midfield with conviction but struggled to influence the game going forward.

Bentancur managed to impress at times but failed to register a goal.

RW: Mohammed Kudus – 7.5/10

Richarlison was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score in the 43rd minute.

He struggled to be a threat on the left flank and was replaced in the 71st minute.
