Richarlison ‘to prioritise’ Saudi Arabia over Flamengo | OneFootball

Flamengo have turned to Richarlison in their hunt for a new centre forward next season. According to ESPN, a member of his camp said Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Flamengo, in the event of a return to Brazil, are possibilities, with Saudi Arabia the priority.

Richarlison remains at Tottenham but is dealing with technical and fitness issues this season. That situation could see him left out of Brazil's squad as preparations continue for the 2026 World Cup.

Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has already worked with the forward at Everton and knows his profile well. The national team also lack players to operate inside the six-yard box.

Richarlison has a verbal agreement with Tottenham to leave the club in June 2026. Tottenham have set a €25 million price, about R$154.5 million, to negotiate his sale.

While seeking a striker, Flamengo remain focused on their immediate schedule. They face Vitória on Tuesday 10 in the third round of the Brasileirão at Barradão in Salvador, with kick-off at 21:30 Brasília time.
