Brentford full-backs Michael Kayode and Rico Henry are in contention to face Newcastle on Wednesday after both played in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday.
The Bees, who fielded a mixed XI comprising first-term and B-team players, beat West Ham 1-0 at the Hammers’ training ground. Iwan Morgan, 19, scored the winner.
Kayode has made four Premier League appearances since joining in January on an initial loan move from Fiorentina, but has missed the Bees’ last two matches against Aston Villa and Bournemouth with a minor knee injury.
Rico Henry has played just once in the Premier League this season, against Manchester City in January, following the second ACL injury of his career.

Kayode also played and has been training in full.
Aaron Hickey had a setback on his own serious hamstring problem but is said to be progressing well and is just behind Henry in his recovery.
Standard Sport understands Henry and Kayode are available to play at St James’ Park on Wednesday if selected, with Hickey training and set to return in the next couple of weeks.
