According to Molineux.news, Rob Edwards will be without Emmanuel Agbadou at AFCON, with Tawanda Chirewa also selected by Zimbabwe. Wolves had feared up to five call-ups, but the picture appears less severe. The report notes Edwards has struggled to find fluency with a full group, so any losses may have limited impact.
Agbadou has been confirmed in Ivory Coast’s squad and has featured in every minute under Edwards so far.
Chirewa has only 21 Premier League minutes this season but has still been picked by Zimbabwe. He was hailed by James Collins ahead of the Chelsea match.
Marshall Munetsi misses out due to an ongoing injury issue.
Jackson Tchatchou has been omitted by Cameroon, while Tolu Arokodare is set to miss the tournament despite helping in qualification. Tchatchou’s absence increases competition at right-back with Matt Doherty and Ki-Jana Hoever back.
