Both Lewandowski and Messi boast an impressive 0.79 goals per game. Right behind them is Cristiano Ronaldo, with a close average of 0.77 goals per game, while Ruud van Nistelrooy and Karim Benzema hold the fourth and fifth spots with 0.77 and 0.59 goals per game, respectively.

In addition to this, Lewandowski is also the second player to have scored the most goals in the competition after turning 30 years old. The Pole has scored 51 goals after turning 30, and only trails Ronaldo in this regard, who has scored 68 goals after reaching this age.
