Robert Lewandowski tips Barcelona teammate to perform ‘even better’ this season than last | OneFootball

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has this weekend confidently revealed his take that young teammate Lamine Yamal will enjoy an even better season in 2025/26 than he did last time out.

Wide-man Lamine is for his part of course fresh off a spectacular individual campaign in Catalunya’s capital.

En route to Barcelona securing a domestic treble, the 18-year-old lit up the Blaugrana’s right flank, courtesy of a remarkable combination of touch, dribbling, flair and final ball.

Not only that, but Lamine also took his production in the final third to new heights, on his way to 43 direct goal contributions across all competitions.

Speaking during an appearance in front of the media following Barca’s arrival in Asia for the club’s upcoming pre-season tour on Saturday, the name of his attacking partner-in-crime was therefore put to Robert Lewandowski.

And, in quotes relaid by Diario Sport, veteran hitman Lewandowski went on to assure:

“This year he can play even better than last, every year he will be better, he is no longer a child.”
