Rodez’s Nolan Galves agrees four-year deal with West Bromwich Albion | OneFootball

Rodez AF’s Nolan Galves (23) is reported to have reached an agreement with West Bromwich Albion on a four-year contract, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

A product of the FC Sochaux-Montbéliard academy, where he was thrown in at the deep end and has made 32 appearances, the young defender is set to become the first Ligue 2 player to sign for a Championship club in the 21st century.

Having joined Rodez in the summer of 2024, Galves quickly established himself as a key member of Didier Santini’s squad. Starting in 31 of his 36 appearances across all competitions during the 2025-26 season, the Montbéliard-born player provided eight assists to help his side qualify for the promotion play-offs to Ligue 1.

At the age of 23, the player will go down in WBA history as the fourth Frenchman to have represented the club at professional level, following in the footsteps of Morgan Amalfitano, Nicolas Anelka and Yann M’Vila.
