Rodolfo Arruabarrena begins second Boca stint and assembles backroom team | OneFootball

Rodolfo Arruabarrena has returned to Boca and led his first training session, launching his second spell with a trusted backroom group and core club staff.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Arruabarrena opened pre-season at the Ezeiza complex after a long stint in Asia, taking on the task of steering the Xeneize back on course. The board have backed his strong identity with the club and knowledge of its demands.

He has appointed Diego Markic and Juan Gobet as his senior assistants, with Amr Mokhtar continuing as a key aide from his time abroad.

Gustavo Roberti heads the physical preparation, the long-time fitness coach again teaming up with Arruabarrena. Their focus is to lift the squad’s intensity and re-establish Boca as protagonists in every competition.

Within the club’s fixed structure, physical coach Cristian Aquino and goalkeeping coach Cristian Muñoz remain with the first team, rather than arriving with the new manager. Both kept their roles after Claudio Úbeda’s recent departure and have worked through previous regimes, most recently alongside Miguel Ángel Russo and earlier under Fernando Gago.
