Rodrigo Mendoza to Atlético registered at 23:57 as LaLiga window shuts | OneFootball

LaLiga logged its final winter-window moves in the closing minutes, with Atlético Madrid registering Rodrigo Mendoza from Elche at 23:57, the last deal to be filed. Zito Luvumbo moved from Cagliari to Mallorca and Álvaro Núñez left Elche for Celta.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, competition sources in Madrid said the market is now fully closed, with no pending operations in Primera or Segunda.

Earlier, Matías Vecino from Lazio to Celta and Veljko Birmancevic from Sparta Praga to Getafe had already appeared on the league portal.

Three further registrations were listed, Álvaro Fidalgo for Betis, Ibrahim Diabate of Ivory Coast from GAIS Gotemburgo for Alavés, and José Antonio Tete Morente from Lecce for Elche. The Vecino and Birmancevic moves were also validated.

Hours before the deadline, Atlético registered Ademola Lookman at about 20:30, then Mexican midfielder Obed Vargas at around 21:00.

On Monday afternoon, Gonzalo Villar’s loan to Elche from Dinamo de Zagreb was validated. Loans for defender Ville Koski from NK Istra 1961 to Deportivo Alavés and forward Cyril Ngonge from Nápoles to Espanyol also went through.

Athletic Club acted early, promoting defender Unai Egiluz from the B team in the morning.
