According to Albanian newspaper Markaj News, Roma is reportedly very close to acquiring the left-back from Al-Ittihad.

The player, born in 2003, is considered a particularly attractive prospect due to his age, room for growth, and tactical versatility.

Mitaj is capable of playing both left-back and winger, a trait that could perfectly fit Gasperini’s requirements.

The Giallorossi coach has often promoted players capable of providing offensive thrust and defensive reliability down the flanks, making the Albanian’s profile particularly compatible with his playing system.
