A return to Italy could be on the cards for Nottingham Forest winger Dan Ndoye this summer.
Get Football News Italy reports that Roma are in the frame for Ndoye as they weigh attacking reinforcements, and that he has been offered to the Serie A club, while Joshua Zirkzee is also on their radar. Inter Milan have also been linked and are described as long-term admirers.
The Switzerland international has endured a mixed first Premier League campaign after a bright start, scoring at Brentford on the opening day. He joined from Bologna last July for around £34-35 million and has made 37 appearances in all competitions, 23 starts, adding a goal against Midtjylland in the Europa League league phase.
He has been sidelined by injury in recent weeks and it remains unclear whether he will be back for Sunday’s final game at home to Bournemouth.
Ndoye is not the only player linked with a possible exit as Forest reshape their squad. Soccernet reports that striker Taiwo Awoniyi has multiple admirers, with former club Mainz interested in bringing him back.
Head coach Vitor Pereira has said Forest want to retain their core group, though some departures and arrivals are expected. The club are likely to assess their attacking options once the season ends, and fringe players could make way for recruits.
