Roma is accelerating its search for reinforcements for the left flank and closing ranks around two well-established names: Dayann Methalie and David Møller Wolfe.
This is the shortlist Frederic Massara has submitted to Gian Piero Gasperini to strengthen a position considered a priority for the season finale.
As reported by Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, the most intriguing prospect is Toulouse’s Methalie.
The Giallorossi have already let the French club know they’re willing to offer up to €15 million, but negotiations remain uphill: the 2006-born player’s value is between €25 and €30 million, a figure that currently holds back a final move.
The option of Wolverhampton’s David Møller Wolfe, however, is more likely.
Direct contact has been established between the clubs in recent hours, and the deal is considered a potential late-market opportunity, with greater financial flexibility.
