A small change has occurred within Roma’s hierarchy.
In fact, Jose Fontes, current head scout of the Giallorossi, will become the new head of recruitment, reports Tuttomercatoweb.

His role will be to identify players with high potential and implement purchasing strategies for them.
He will work in direct contact with technical director Florent Ghisolfi and Daniele De Rossi.
Fontes arrived in the capital in 2021, replacing Ricardo Formosinho, former collaborator of José Mourinho at Tottenham, on the staff. Fontes, as things currently stand, is in pole position for the role of sporting director of the Giallorossi.
The Portuguese scout previously worked for Leicester City.
