Benfica could receive help from Roma in their move for Lorenzo Lucca, with developments in Italy potentially shaping talks with Napoli.

According to A Bola, Roma are trying to finalise Donyell Malen from Aston Villa, having also shown interest in András Schjelderup. If that deal happens, Roma could then free Artem Dovbyk.

The Ukrainian forward could be loaned or sold to Napoli, who want him, which in turn might ease negotiations between Napoli and Benfica over Lucca.

Benfica are aware of the terms involved. Napoli are thought to want a paid loan of two million euros and a purchase clause at around 35 million euros.

Lucca, valued at 25 million euros, has played 21 times for Napoli this season, 15 in Serie A, four in the Champions League, one in the Super Cup and one in the Italian Cup. He has two goals in 584 minutes and is contracted until June 2028.
