In goal, Mile Svilar gets the nod, arguably Serie A’s standout over the past two campaigns. Ivan Provedel posted 12 clean sheets in 27 before a season-ending injury. The back three features Gianluca Mancini on the right, Mario Gila centrally, and Evan Ndicka on the left, considered a cut above Alessio Romagnoli and Mario Hermoso.

Zeki Celik holds the right wing-back berth despite Wesley’s arrival. In midfield, Nicolo Rovella’s technique edges Bryan Cristante for the regista role. Manu Kone is the box-to-box pick, with Didier Deschamps’ World Cup call-up over Khephren Thuram, Eduardo Camavinga and Matteo Guendouzi underlining his standing.

On the left, Wesley’s explosive inverted raids and five goals earn selection. Nuno Tavares’ recent progress was undone by a costly Coppa Italia final error, and Wesley would have been preferred regardless.

Paulo Dybala takes the right attacking slot, injuries limiting minutes yet his quality still elite and arguably the league’s most technical when fit. On the left, Mattia Zaccagni gets the nod ahead of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Matias Soule and Niccolo Pisilli, his menace tempered only by an unlucky run of injuries.

Up front, January arrival Donyell Malen leads the line with 13 goals in 16 Serie A outings, while no Lazio player has more than five this season.
