Roma is rapidly closing in on Santiago Castro.
A basic agreement worth €30 million plus bonuses has been reached, and the details of the deal are being worked on.
According to Fabrizio Romano in his latest video, Roma is rapidly closing in on Santiago Castro, Bologna’s 2004-born striker.
The Argentine has already said yes to the Giallorossi, who are offering a contract worth around €2 million per season.
The turning point in the deal is due to the difficulty in securing Nicolò Tresoldi, for whom Club Brugge is demanding a very high fee.
The basic deal is worth €30 million plus €5 million in bonuses. Details are still being discussed and ironed out, but Roma want to act quickly so the player can join the squad when they leave for Wales.
The deal could also include Dovbyk—the latter’s deal could be unrelated—or Robinio Vaz on loan.
