According to Glorioso 1904, Romário, now a Brazilian senator, named Benfica legends Michel Preud'homme and Mozer as the toughest opponents he faced.
He also said Johan Cruyff was the best coach of his career.
Asked which current player most resembled his style, he chose Mbappé, while noting some differences.
On his own finishing, he said that inside the box he was better than Messi and Maradona. He added that missing the 2002 World Cup was his biggest regret.
Michel Preud'homme spent 1994 to 1999 at Benfica and was one of the club's most notable goalkeepers. He produced high-level displays at the 1994 World Cup in the United States. At Benfica he won the Taça de Portugal in 1995/96 and remained a widely respected figure.
Carlos Mozer, widely known as Mozer, had two spells with Benfica from 1987 to 1992 and again in 1995/96. He won three league titles, one Taça de Portugal and a Supertaça, and helped the club reach the 1989/90 European Cup final. He left a lasting mark on their history.
