Ronaldo Eyes Bruno Fernandes in Massive Al Nassr Transfer Push
Cristiano Ronaldo's reportedly pushing for blockbuster reunion with Bruno Fernandes at Al Nassr as part of bold plan to assemble Portuguese core at the Saudi club this summer.
According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, the Al Nassr captain played major role in Joao Felix’s recent move to the Riyadh based club and is now aiming to bring in Fernandes as the next big signing.
The club's also managed by fellow Portuguese Jorge Jesus making the potential transfer even more appealing.
While Bruno’s current market value is 50 million euro (Transfermarkt), the report claims Al Nassr’s management won't let financial concerns hinder the pursuit.
Despite turning down lucrative offer from Al Hilal in the past, the presence of Ronaldo & Jesus could be decisive in swaying Fernandes this time.
A Bola revealed that initial contact was made on Thursday between Al Nassr & Fernandes camp to gauge interest and open the door to possible negotiation with Man United.
The move's part of Al Nassr’s wider strategy to build Portuguese spine with Felix already secured and Bruno next in line.
However luring the Man United captain won’t be easy especially with new manager Ruben Amorim keen on keeping him central to the team’s rebuild.
Fernandes previously played under Jorge Jesus at Sporting CP in the 2017 /18 season, a link that may prove crucial in reviving talks and convincing the playmaker to take on new challenge in the Saudi Pro League.
