After Man United knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup in dramatic fashion, Ruben Amorim was quick to mention the Red Devils' next match, Southampton.

However, for obvious reasons, the most watched game would have probably been Arsenal vs Man United. It is arguably the most iconic rivalry in English football due to the nature of them competing at the top level for a long time.

Man United went a goal up, then a man down. They conceded due to a deflection but then held out until the final whistle and then until the eventual penalty shootout. Ultimately, Man United won 5-3 in the shootout to conclude a match between the cup's two most successful teams.

I know what you might be thinking - But where do Southampton fit into this? Well, Man United will now turn their attention to Southampton, a reality which Ruben Amorim has reminded us of.

Speaking after the historic FA Cup fixture on Sunday afternoon, Man United manager Ruben Amorim said that his full attention is now on facing Southampton in midweek. It is a game which he sees as a must-win.

In his own words, Ruben Amorim said: "It was a good day for us, but now we have to rest the players," the United boss explained at the Emirates. "I'm already thinking about the next game; they are really tired, so we need to win. Let's see."

Man United fielded a strong lineup against Arsenal at the weekend. Considering some key players saw out the entire 120 minutes for the Red Devils, Ruben Amorim will have squad rotation at the back of his mind.

Nevertheless, Southampton will not be looking forward to visiting Old Trafford. It is infamously a tough stadium to visit, even if recent history hasn't favoured Man United. It is an even worse time for the Saints to visit, with the hosts naturally buzzing with morale right now.

That said, it is important to remember that this is a must-win game for Southampton too. In fact, every game between now and the end of the season will be viewed as a must-win for the Saints, with relegation from the Premier League being the fate they might suffer if not.
