Rui Costa and André Villas-Boas will watch Porto v Benfica from separate seats in the Taça de Portugal.
Record writes that the Benfica and Porto presidents will not sit side by side in the VIP tribune. They are expected to be in the same area, though apart, in line with recent seasons.
André Villas-Boas is set to take his usual place in the front row of the VIP section. Rui Costa is due to sit a few rows back with the Benfica delegation.
José Mourinho is still weighing his options for the Clássico. The main doubt is António Silva, who is racing to be available for selection.
Kick-off is scheduled for Wednesday, 14 January, at 20:45 at Estádio do Dragão. After their Taça da Liga exit, Benfica are chasing a place in the semi-finals of the Taça de Portugal as they continue to target silverware in 2025/26.
