Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has committed his long-term future to Anfield, signing a new deal that will keep him at the club until June 2032.

Gravenberch has been rejuvenated since Arne Slot’s appointment as manager, emerging as a mainstay in midfield after serving primarily as a rotational option under Jurgen Klopp.

He was a cornerstone of the squad that secured Liverpool’s 20th Premier League title last season – starting 37 of 38 league matches – and has remained a key figure this term.

Speaking to club media at the AXA Training Centre, Gravenberch emphasised the mutual trust and ambition that underpinned his decision to extend his stay on Merseyside:

“I feel really, really good,” Gravenberch told Liverpool’s official website.

“I was really proud to extend my contract at such a big club. So, I’m really happy that I can stay for many more years.

“I felt the trust from the club directly, also from the manager.

“My family is also happy here. We have been here almost three years, so I know everything already – I’m happy that I’m here.”

Gravenberch has reached new heights this season. He has already matched his career-best tally of four league goals and currently leads the Liverpool squad in both interceptions and duels won.

His all-action style makes him one of the first names on the team sheet.

By securing Gravenberch’s services for the next six years, the Liverpool hierarchy have moved decisively to shrug off any outside interest and send a clear message of stability.
