Sabri Lamouchi refreshes Tunisia squad, Montassar Talbi absent for first camp

Sabri Lamouchi has named his first Tunisia squad, refreshing the group with seven new call-ups in a 30-man list.

According to L'Équipe, the March camp features friendlies against Canada on 29 March and Haiti on 1 April.

The newcomers include Rani Khedira, 32, the experienced Union Berlin midfielder.

Lorient defender Montassar Talbi is unavailable for personal reasons, while leaders Ellyes Skhiri and Hannibal Mejbri are retained.

The squad is further youthful with first call-ups for Anisse Saidi, 17, and Rayan Elloumi, 18, who has previously represented Canada’s youth teams.

Khalil Ayari, 21, signed by PSG from Stade Tunisien and training with the club’s Under-23s, could win his first cap in the coming days.
