Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Martinique, Aruba impress in U-20 Qualifiers

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Qualifiers continued with the opening matches in Groups D, E, and F on Tuesday.
Group D
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 6-0 Anguilla
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines defeated Anguilla, 6-nil, to take command of Group D at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.
An own goal from Anguilla in the 4’ placed Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the lead.
Shaquan Hooper doubled the advantage for the Vincy Heat in the 19’, scoring with a volley from the left end of the box on a corner kick delivery.
Tyrique Clarke added two more for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in the 45’ and 47’.
Zheon Cunningham struck from close range in the 67’, and Tyler Lewis added another in the 84’.
Curaçao 3-2 Guyana
Group H hosts Curaçao opened with a 3-2 victory over Guyana at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao
Bryan Wharton opened the scoring in the 8’ to hand Guyana the lead.
Damiënthly Bernardina converted for Curaçao from the penalty spot in the 20’.
Dayvi Busby turned the game around for Curaçao in the 34’, curling the ball into the back post from inside the box.
Bernardina secured his brace in the 68’ with a tap in from close range.
Reiss Parris shortened the deficit for Guyana in the 90’ on a set piece situation.
Group E
Barbados 1-1 Sint Maarten
Barbados and Sint Maarten played out a 1-1 stalemate in Group E at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
Sint Maarten pulled ahead in the 20’, with Tim Van Ottele scoring from close range.
Xavier Bayne equalized for Barbados with a long-range stunner in the 26’.
Trinidad and Tobago 2-2 Bermuda
Trinidad and Tobago and Bermuda drew 2-2 in Group E at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
Barbados took the lead in the 38’, with a great run and finish from Jace Donawa.
Trinidad and Tobago turned the scoring around with back-to-back goals in the second half, an own goal from Bermuda in the 79’, and a goal from Dominic Joseph.
James Morrison equalized for Bermuda with a towering header in the 84’.
Group F
Martinique 7-1 U.S. Virgin Islands
Martinique took the lead in Group F with a 7-1 win over the U.S. Virgin Islands at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua.
A brace from Malick Haatchi-Filomin opened the scoring for Martinique, with goals in the 3’ and 27’. Naihly Theramene added another for Martinique in the 45’.
A brace from Noah Fabrice Delem, scoring in the 62’ and 68’, and goals from Lucas Boulange and Saiane Gonzalve, in the 71’ and 72’, respectively, closed out the victory.
Connor Bass got the U.S.V.I. on the scoresheet with a goal in the 76’.
Nicaragua 0-2 Aruba
Aruba defeated Group F hosts Nicaragua 2-nil at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua.
Giliandro Losiabaar found the breakthrough goal for Aruba in the 53’. Raylion Wilkerson doubled Aruba’s advantage in the 59’.
