Salah set for return to Liverpool squad | OneFootball

Mo Salah is in line for a return to the Liverpool squad on Friday night against Aston Villa.

Salah, who is leaving the club at the end of the season, has missed the last two games with a muscle injury but boss boss Arne Slot says he will be available from the bench against Villa.

Mo [Salah] will be available tomorrow but only for a few minutes. Hopefully he can come in,” he said.

Ibrahima Konate is fit to play, meanwhile, but Alisson and Florian Wirtz are doubts.

“Ibou [Konate] is okay, he trained with us,” Slot said.

“Alisson trained with us again, let’s see tomorrow whether he is ready or has to wait one more week.

“Florian [Wirtz] [had a] stomach infection and is on antibiotics. Let’s see if he is ready to play tomorrow.”
