Samu Costa ‘to join’ Al Nassr as first summer signing after Mallorca reveal | OneFootball

Real Mallorca have disclosed that Samu Costa is set to join Al Nassr as their first summer signing, ahead of any announcement from the Saudi club.

Arriyadiyah quoted Mallorca media officer Hector Martin as saying the agreement between the clubs has been finalised after Al Nassr surpassed offers from Leipzig and other European sides. Okaz reported a fee of nine million euros, to be paid in two instalments.

Financial issues had previously prevented Al Nassr from making additions in this window, with Costa now poised to be the first arrival.

Costa has spent most of his career in Spain. He played for Almeria from 2020 to 2023 before moving to Mallorca in 2023.

Internationally, he made his Portugal debut alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in October 2024 and has earned seven caps.

Portugal selected the 25-year-old for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He featured once, coming on for 20 minutes in the goalless draw with Colombia in the third round of the group stage.
