Santiago Gimenez 'offered' to Porto as Milan role shrinks | OneFootball

Santiago Giménez has little room under Rúben Amorim at Milan and, according to O Jogo, Italian reports say the striker has been offered to Porto. There are currently no moves to sign the Mexico international.

Porto are looking to strengthen in this area and Farioli knows the forward well from his time in the Netherlands. Even so, nothing is advancing for now.

Milan paid 30 million euros for Giménez, who managed one goal in 18 appearances last season after injuries sidelined him for months.

He is in the final phase of recovery at Milanello from an ankle sprain suffered on international duty at the World Cup, while the team are in Australia.

The arrival of Gonçalo Ramos from PSG further narrows his opportunities and Milan are seeking a solution. A loan with an option to buy could suit Porto, though this is not being discussed at present.

With the window still open, much can change. André Villas-Boas and Farioli have both said patience is required.
