Santos agree exclusive talks with SDC Sports LLC over possible SAF investment | OneFootball

The club said in a statement that it has agreed an exclusivity period with SDC Sports LLC to begin talks over a possible investment in a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol at Santos.

SDC Sports LLC is described as a global investment platform focused on the long-term development of clubs.

The agreement is non-binding and allows an in-depth review of strategic, financial and operational aspects by both sides, while preserving their full autonomy before any definitive investment is formalised.

The talks are intended to strengthen operations, improve competitive performance, grow the brand, refine market positioning and accelerate development across the professional and academy set-ups.

XP Investimentos and Rothschild & Co are acting as financial advisers on the possible transaction, and the board believes the club’s statute will need to be amended for Santos to become a SAF.
