Santos confirm Christian Oliva signing from Nacional on contract to 2028 | OneFootball

Santos have confirmed the signing of Christian Oliva on a contract running to 2028. The announcement came on Saturday.

They are expected to pay about 1.5 million dollars to Nacional of Uruguay, which holds 25% of his economic rights.

The rest of the rights belong to the player. With their transfer ban lifted, he is expected to be registered with the CBF’s BID in the coming days.

Oliva said he is delighted to join a giant club, wants to seize the opportunity and help the team, and pledged Uruguayan grit with full commitment.

Born in Ciudad del Plata, Uruguay, he turns 30 in June. He came through Bella Vista’s youth ranks and made his senior debut for Nacional, then moved to Cagliari, initially on loan and later permanently, and spent time on loan at Valencia.

He subsequently joined Talleres on a permanent deal and was loaned to Juárez, before returning to Nacional in 2024. This year, Santos have added four reinforcements, the midfielder Gabriel Menino and the forwards Gabriel Menino, Rony and Moisés.
