São Paulo stayed top of the Brasileirão after coming from behind to beat Red Bull Bragantino 2-1, moving to 16 points as round six ended on Sunday night.
According to Coluna Do Fla, the weekend programme unfolded as follows.
On Saturday, Vitória beat Atlético-MG 2-0 at Barradão in Salvador, then Flamengo swept aside Botafogo 3-0 at the Nilton Santos.
At 16:00 Brasília time on Sunday, Bahia won 1-0 at Internacional. Santos and Corinthians drew 1-1 at Vila Belmiro, and Fluminense edged Athletico-PR 3-2 at the Maracanã.
Later, Palmeiras defeated Mirassol 1-0 at Allianz Parque. Remo, Flamengo’s next opponents, lost 1-0 to Coritiba in Curitiba at the Couto Pereira.
At the Mineirão, Vasco held Cruzeiro 3-3 despite playing with 10 men. They had turned the game around before a late equaliser, and Tite’s side remain in the Z-4.
