Sarina Wiegman has announced her Lionesses squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifying fixtures against Ukraine and Iceland.

The England manager is without Ella Toone and Beth Mead due to injury as well as players with long-term issues. However there are players returning, Alex Greenwood, Jess Carter, Liam Williamson, Lauren James, and Hannah Hampton are all back after recovering from their respective injuries.

Lucia Kendall and Taylor Hinds had both been doubts due to fitness but are included although there is no place for Missy Bo Kearns.

London City Lionesses youngster Freya Godfrey remains in the squad and will be hoping for a first senior appearance. Godfrey's teammate Poppy Pattinson has also received her first senior call-up.

England begin their qualification campaign 'away' to Ukraine in Turkey on March 3rd before hosting Iceland on March 7th.
