Former Milan star Dejan Savicevic has nothing but positive things to say about Juventus talent Vasilije Adzic, who marked his Derby d’Italia debut with the 91st-minute winner against rivals Inter in Serie A over the weekend.
Adzic made headlines with a 91st-minute winner in Juventus’s 4-3 victory over rivals Inter at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 19-year-old had joined Juve from Budućnost Podgorica last summer, and has spent his time since then split fairly evenly between the Next Gen side, the first-team and the treatment room.

Savicevic, who is currently serving his fifth term as President of the Montenegrin Football Association, believes that Adzic’s match winner against Inter came as no surprise to those who have been following his career from the beginning.
“For me, Adzic’s goal wasn’t a surprise because he’s scored similar goals when he was in Montenegro, with FK Budućnost and in the youth national teams,” Savicevic told TMW.
“He’s got great technique, a lot of imagination, skill and talent. And he can shoot, which he proved on his professional debut here in Montenegro.

“Because of this, his goal didn’t surprise me at all because I know what he is capable of.”
The Derby d’Italia victory was Adzic’s first appearance for the Juventus first team in 2025-26. He also made nine substitute appearances for the Old Lady in 2024-25, six coming in Serie A, plus one apiece in the Champions League, Coppa Italia and Club World Cup.
Last season, he registered four goals and two assists from 10 appearances for the Juventus Next Gen side in Serie C.
