Sebastian Hoeneß: "Nick Woltemade will be with us next year!" | OneFootball

It already seems like the longest Bundesliga transfer saga of this transfer window: Stuttgart's Nick Woltemade and his possible move to Bayern Munich.

Many people, including Stuttgart's sporting directo Fabian Wohlgemuth, Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl, star pundits like Lothar Matthäus and Bayern's honorary president Uli Hoeneß, have already commented on the rumour - now, VfB coach, and the nephew of Uli Hoeneß, Sebastian Hoeneß has seemingly put his foot down on the rumoured transfer:

“I assume that he [Nick Woltemade] will be with us next year [season]. He's on vacation now and will be joining us for the training camp.”

“It's clear that he's a key player for us, as a person and as a player. That's why I'm planning with him. He'll play an important role for us.”

Woltemade himself is reportedly keen on the move - and Uli Hoeneß has already announced that “if the transfer doesn't happen in this summer, it will in 2026."
