Surprisingly, the home side comes to this game having collected one more point than Inter in the opening four Serie A rounds.

Boris Radunović, Gabriele Zappa and Zito Luvumbo are unavailable for Cagliari, while Inter coach Cristian Chivu can rely on a full squad.

It’s a derby between the Esposito brothers, but while Cagliari’s Sebastiano is expected to feature in the Sardinians’ XI, Pio will likely start on the Inter bench, making room for Thuram and Lautaro Martinez in attack.

The Cagliari XI seems quite settled with Yerry Mina returning after a mid-week Coppa Italia round and Andrea Belotti joining Esposito in attack.

The same goes for Inter, even if there are doubts on the wings, according to Sky, with either Matteo Darmian or Luis Henrique starting on the right flank and Carlos Augusto battling Federico Dimarco for the left wing-back position.
