Marcus Thuram picked up an injury during Inter’s 3-0 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Tuesday evening and is expected to miss several weeks of action heading into the international break. He is replaced by Bonny in the starting line-up against Cremonese.

Nicolo Barella did not start midweek and comes back into Chivu’s midfield along with the returning Davide Frattesi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Petar Sucic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Piotr Zielinski were the chosen starters in midfield against Slavia Prague.

Stefan De Vrij and Manuel Akanji are also back in the Nerazzurri line-up, along with the ever-present Alessandro Bastoni in the back three.

Dennis Johnsen and Antonio Sanabria start up front for Cremonese, with former England international Jamie Vardy among the substitutes and expected to appear in the second half.
