Milan coach Paulo Fonseca could make significant changes from his side’s last outings as Rossoneri star Rafael Leao is likely to start on the bench in their home game against Udinese.

It kicks off at 18:00 CET (16:00 GMT) at the Stadio San Siro in Milan.

The Rossoneri are urged to bounce back from their defeat at Fiorentina before the international break, and the Portuguese manager looks willing to rule Tammy Abraham out of the starting XI after the player ignored the penalty hierarchy in Milan’s last match and took the duty away from designated taker Christian Pulisic.

Fikayo Tomori, the other player involved in the incident, should keep his place as a centre-back alongside Malick Thiaw, while 21-year-old Filippo Terracciano should get his first start replacing the suspended Theo Hernandez, as multiple media report.

Leao’s exclusion is only one of the tweaks expected up front, as Samuel Chukwueze could also make his way into the starting line-up as a right offensive winger, with Noah Okafor on the opposite flank and Alvaro Morata leading the attacking line.

Udinese will once again have to do without Florian Thauvin, as Iker Bravo and Lorenzo Lucca should compose the attacking duo.
