Fiorentina hope Moise Kean and Albert Gudmundsson can stem the injury crisis in a big relegation dogfight against Kieron Bowie’s desperate Verona.

This is a pure battle to avoid the drop, because although there are 11 points between them, Verona are in 19th place and Fiorentina in 16th, the Viola just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Nonetheless, Moise Kean is risked from the start after returning from Italy’s disastrous World Cup play-offs, despite the ankle flaring up again.

Rolando Mandragora, Dodo, Fabiano Parisi, Manor Solomon, Niccolò Fortini, and Tariq Lamptey are also out of action.

It means Gudmundsson and Kean lead the attack, with Cher Ndour fresh from goals for the Italy Under-21 side.
