The Scudetto race is wide open with 10 Serie A games left to play, because Inter, Napoli and Atalanta are just three points apart, with first and third going head-to-head on Sunday.

Juventus have seemingly been cut out of the running for the title following this evening’s humiliating 4-0 home defeat to Atalanta.

That left only the top three in a very tight battle, because Inter have 61 points, Napoli 60 and Atalanta 58.

The situation could be revamped again next Sunday when Atalanta host Inter at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.

While the Nerazzurri have Champions League commitments against Feyenoord on Tuesday, La Dea can spend the next week preparing for their showdown.

At the same time, Napoli hope to take advantage with their trip to struggling Venezia.

Of the sides in the race, Atalanta have clearly the toughest Serie A run-in, as they still have to face Fiorentina (A), Lazio (H), Bologna (H), Milan (A), Lecce (H), Monza (A), Roma (H), Genoa (A) and Parma (H).

Inter are troubled by a packed fixture list, as they are the only Italian team still in both the Champions League and the Coppa Italia.

After Atalanta (A), they play Udinese (H), Parma (A), Cagliari (H), Bologna (A), Roma (H), Verona (H), Torino (A), Lazio (H) and Como (A).

Napoli, like La Dea, have no further distractions and their run-in is Venezia (A), Milan (H), Bologna (A), Empoli (H), Monza (A), Torino (H), Lecce (A), Genoa (H), Parma (A) and Cagliari (H).
