Marcus Thuram has been left at home, which means that Ange-Yoan Bonny is likely to partner Lautaro Martinez for Inter when they take on Hellas Verona at the Bentegodi in Serie A on Sunday afternoon.
The Nerazzurri sit in third place in the Serie A standings prior to kick-off, and could pull themselves one point behind current league leaders Napoli with a victory away from home on Sunday evening.
Thuram is Inter’s biggest absence. He has been unavailable for the last few weeks, returned to training earlier this week, but has not travelled with the squad for the Verona match on Sunday. As per Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri are making sure that he is fully fit for the Champions League test against Kairat on Wednesday evening instead.

That means that Bonny and Lautaro Martinez are expected to lead the line in Verona, with Pio Esposito among the substitutes.
Carlos Augusto is expected to start, but it remains to be seen whether he will come in for Federico Dimarco at left wing-back, or for Alessandro Bastoni on the left of the back three.
According to Sky, Cristian Chivu is planning to go with a midfield trio of Nicolo Barella, Piotr Zielinski and Petar Sucic on Sunday.
Kick-off is due in the early slot at 11.30 GMT.
