RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko insists he and his teammates have ‘clear ideas’ ahead of a Champions League match against Juventus but won’t comment on summer speculation of a possible move to Milan.

Sesko will be one of the toughest opponents for Serie A clubs in the Champions League Round 2 and the 21-year-old previewed an upcoming European match against Juventus during an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Every game gives motivation, but Juventus and Italian football, in general, are famous for defensive solidity,” said the striker.

“The Bianconeri are strong in this regard but also unpredictable in attack. However, we have clear ideas and know how to hurt them.”

The Slovenia international is seen as one of the most complete strikers in Europe and has already netted four goals in seven appearances across all competitions this term.

“Everything is needed. In the past, excelling in one aspect was enough,” he noted.

“Now, you must be complete if you want to compete at the highest levels. You must think quickly as well. Football is so quick that you must read the action and use your body wisely.”

Only a few weeks before the start of the Euros, Sesko signed a contract extension with Leipzig until June 2029. He had been linked with several top European clubs, including Milan and Arsenal.

“I won’t comment on transfer speculations,” he insisted.

“I am happy in Leipzig, and for this reason, I’ve recently extended my contract. I want to make big things here, and Leipzig want to improve. I want to accompany the team on this intriguing path.”

However, the Slovenia international admitted that Serie A is one of the leading leagues in the Old Continent.

“It’s always been among the best in Europe, and your players have great European experience. This is why games against Juventus and Inter are intriguing for us. We want to do well,” he concluded.
